Last Saturday, Florida not only lost to Kentucky for the first time since 1986 but also are down one of their running backs.
Sophomore Adarius Lemons announced on Twitter his plan to transfer just moments after Kentucky snapped a 31-game losing streak vs. Florida.
“I would like to announce that I am transferring from the University of Florida. I’m going to miss some of these boys I’ve been playing with for the past two years I’ve been here. I feel I’ve learned a lot from the previous coaches that were here,” Lemons said. “I want to find a school I can help to the best of my ability and actually use my talent that God has blessed me with. Thank you and farewell.”
I just wanna use my talent god has blessed me with and actually help a team in need of a RB that’s all 🤷🏾♂️ 😇

Florida coach Dan Mullen confirmed the news on Monday, according to 247Sports. Lemons amassed 136 yards on 19 carries during his time at Florida.
Lemons, who had two kickoff returns for 47 yards vs. Kentucky, was a three-star Class of 2017 prospect out of Clearwater High.
