NEW ORLEANS – The high school football season is only a day away and Cox Sports Television has announced the network’s High School Football Showcase schedule for the 2017 season. This year’s schedule begins Friday night with a return to an area where Mother Nature affected so many just a year ago.

The historic floods that paralyzed many across the state of Louisiana directly impacted Live Oak High School. This year the Live Oak Jamboree returns to Watson, LA, as the Eagles take on Fontainbleau LIVE at 7:00pm. The game will be the first of 15 weeks of prep action that will feature games live and tape delayed from Louisiana, Oklahoma, Florida, Nebraska, Virginia and Arizona.

The 2017 schedule features come of the best talent and best teams in the country with one huge battle that will be one of the Gulf Coast’s best. On September 8th, Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA) will travel East to face Escambia from Pensacola, Florida. The game will include two wide receivers that have committed to the University of Florida. Jacob Copeland from EHS will face off against future teammate JaMarr Chase from Rummel.
