NEW ORLEANS – Cox Sports Television (CST) is ready to call the Hogs this season with the return of the network’s premiere Razorback pregame show.
Prior to UA’s season-opener Saturday against Eastern Illinois, ARKANSAS GAMEDAY will return for its fourth season. The LIVE broadcast will emanate from the network’s studio in New Orleans beginning at Noon. The hour-long show will feature a fresh face from the Arkansas backfield.
Former Razorback QB Clint Stoerner will join the team in 2018. Stoerner was a three-year starter for the Hogs and has his name littered in the Arkansas record books. The two-time All-SEC performer played in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins and spent time in the Arena Football League and NFL Europe.
Former defensive back Ken Hamlin will return and join former UA signal-caller Quinn Grovey. Hamlin was a first-team All-American for the Razorbacks, was drafted in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks and was selected to the Pro Bowl as a member of the Dallas Cowboys. Grovey, who will be on site each week, is entering his 21st year as a part of the Arkansas broadcast team and is on the short list of all-time great Arkansas quarterbacks. The group will join host Gus Kattengell each week.
