NEW ORLEANS – Cox Sports Television announced today the network’s college football schedule for the 2018 season. The Leader in Gulf South Sports will open Thursday night with a matchup of two of Division II’s top teams in the country. Second-ranked West Florida will host No. 22 Carson-Newman live from Blue Wahoos Stadium in Pensacola, Florida.

CST’s schedule will traverse nearly the entire college football landscape. The network’s fall journey will feature a heavy weekly dose of teams with Gulf Coast ties and add a mix of Midwest and East Coast appeal.

Huge Southland Conference matchups are scheduled for this season. The Southland sports four teams ranked in the top 20 of every national Football Championship Subdivision preseason poll. Two of those teams, Nicholls and McNeese, will match up September 15 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

In addition to LIVE and replayed games on CST this season, the network will also feature shows that give fans and viewers a behind-the-scenes look at their favorite programs. More than 10 coaches and magazine shows are scheduled to air on CST each week.
