Joe Burrow is not only the talk of the town at LSU but also at his old stomping grounds.
The graduate transfer out of Ohio State has guided No. 5 LSU to a 4-0 start this season. Burrow has 731 yards passing and three touchdowns through the first four weeks.
The Ohio State student section organization showed some love to Burrow by changing the “O” in the “Block O” club name to the Louisiana spelling of “E-A-U-X” for the Buckeyes’ game Saturday vs. Tulane.
Gold placards with the “E-A-U-X” spelling were present prior to the afternoon kickoff.
During the game, students held up those cards during the “O-H-I-O” chant.

Leading up to the game, the organization sent out a release informing the change and spelled Burrow’s name as “Jeaux Burreaux,” and also said “Geaux Bucks,” and “Geaux Tigers.”
The organization is proud to pledge their support of Burrow from afar, as the two teams could be setting themselves up for a College Football Playoff matchup.
Ohio State (4-0) is ranked No. 4 in the AP poll.
“LSU does not have an official student section organization, hence The (Former) Football Committee of Block O will now go on as The Football Committee of Block Eaux. This will geaux down as Eauxhieaux’s Louisiana Purchase.”
