Since 2002, Arkansas alum Dave Van Horn has been at the helm of the Razorback baseball program. Over his 14 seasons as head Hog, Van Horn has led Arkansas to four College World Series appearances, 13 NCAA Tournament berths, one Southeastern Conference overall title, three SEC Western Division championships and a total of 550 wins, averaging more than 40 wins a season.
CST 15th Anniversary Imaging Spot – Tim Grubbs
Grubbs begins his 23rd season in professional baseball, and 15th season in New Orleans. He surpassed a pair of milestones during the 2016 season by calling his 3,000th career game, and his 2,000th Zephyrs game. In 2006 he was involved in a historic broadcast, calling the longest game in Pacific Coast League history. The 26-inning contest between the Zephyrs and Nashville Sounds spanned two days and lasted more than eight hours.

Ron Swoboda has served in both play-by-play and color commentator roles since first coming to the Zephyrs in 1995. After completing nine seasons in Major League Baseball with the Mets (playing an integral role with the 1969 World Champions), Yankees and Expos, Swoboda spent 20 years as an anchor and reporter in local television news, starting in New York with stops along the way in Milwaukee and Phoenix, and winding up in New Orleans.

Tom Burnett was named the Southland Conference’s sixth commissioner on Dec. 23, 2002, and brought a diverse background in athletics administration experience at the conference and national levels. The second-longest tenured full-time commissioner in league history, Burnett is now in his 15th year of service with the Southland, and has a conference administrative background reaching nearly 30 years.
