NEW ORLEANS – The countdown to tip-off on Cox Sports Television is officially under way, as CST is only days away from the network’s tipoff of the 2016-17 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Schedule. CST, the Gulf South Sports Leader fresh off celebrating its 14th birthday, boasts more than 180 total games from some of the premier programs in the country and some local favorites.

“It is hard to believe that 14 years of college basketball is almost upon us,” stated CST Network Head, Rod Mickler. “With a heavy dose of games from the Gulf South region as well as games from California to the Northeast, CST is the place to tune this winter for all College Basketball fans!”

The broadcast schedule begins Sunday with a men’s-women’s doubleheader at Wichita State, as the Shockers host Long Beach State. The schedule will feature some of the premier basketball conferences including the Big South, CAA, Conference USA, Ohio Valley, Patriot League, Southern Conference, Southland, Sun Belt, SEC and WAC.

Gulf South Teams included on the schedule will spotlight programs such as Tulane, UL Lafayette, New Orleans, Nicholls, Southeastern Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Southern Mississippi and more. CST will also broadcast an Arkansas Razorback women’s contest, plus a number of games for the University of Mercer.

Coverage of college basketball will also spill into airing coaches’ shows from LSU, Arkansas, Notre Dame, Auburn, Mercer and Louisiana Tech and others.
