“We are both proud and excited to bring such a robust amount of high-level baseball to our Gulf South viewers,” stated CST head Rod Mickler. “By having the largest schedule in network history, we are able to flood the summer programming schedule with the nation’s national pastime.”

“We are thrilled to partner with CST for another season,” stated New Orleans Zephyrs VP/General Manager Augusto “Cookie” Rojas. “Thirteen games broadcast throughout the region is exciting to our fan base.”

CST continues to be the regional sports network home of the New Orleans Zephyrs with 13 games during the 2016 season. The broadcast schedule for the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins begins with a single game this Saturday against the Memphis Redbirds. The schedule continued June 9 when the Zephyrs host the Omaha Storm Chasers in a four-game set.

The Zephyrs return to CST less than a week later for a three-game home stand against the Oklahoma City Dodgers (6/17-19) before facing Omaha on the road on June 23. The Z’s then host the Round Rock Express in the team and network’s annual Fourth of July game at Zephyr field.

The final games of the broadcast schedule will again feature OKC in the stretch run for the postseason (8/20-22).
