The University of Louisiana football team will embark on new territory next week in Lafayette. For the first time in school history, the UL football team’s spring game will be televised. Cox Sports Television’s coverage of the Annual Vermilion and White Spring Game will begin at 12:30pm on April 21.

First-year head coach Billy Napier is looking to get the Cajuns back into a bowl game and the spring game will give Napier a great chance to get the program on track. Napier, who is in Lafayette following a stint as Associate Head Coach at Arizona State, recently served under both Nick Saban at Alabama and Dabo Swinny at Clemson.
